Tell your readers what you want!

One big issue that a lot of blog owners have is that they are too nice or to afraid to scare off readers to ask for something from them. Unfortunately a lot of times if you don’t ask, the reader won’t know what he can do for you.
What can I ask for or should I ask for?
Well that depends what you want, of course asking for people to click on ads is not a good idea as most if not all ad networks do not allow you to that.
There are however quite a few other things you can ask for like for the reader to sign up to your RSS feed or e-mail newsletter, for them to follow you on Twitter or become a fan on Facebook amongst many other things.
The ideal is to set things up on your website that makes it as easy as possible to do, and make sure you ask for them to do it, because a lot of people out there have no problem doing it but won’t necessarily think about it, especially if they aren’t bloggers themselves.
