Finally get that Twitter username you desire.

Most people who have tried to get their preferred Twitter username come across the same issue, it’s already taken. This is a common problem on a lot of websites, and although it’s frustrating, it becomes even more so if the person using your desired username isn’t even using the account.

Thankfully Twitter has announced that it will be going through the inactive users and delete their accounts, making the usernames available again.

This could mean the username you want will be available to you, but since there is no set time for them to do this, how do you know when yours is available?

There’s a website for that! It’s called TwitterClaims, it’s simple you sign up and put the username you want and it will send you a notification once the name is available.
