Some you will hate, some you will love and others you will be indifferent about, well it’s their brand identity that is causing that.

Most people will judge a company by their past experiences with it, if they have had any, but if not they will rely on that brand’s identity, which can include word of mouth, work in the community, advertisements and anything else that they may have heard or see from that brand.

Lately we have been thinking more and more about our brand, here at the Deuce Group. We feel that although there isn’t really any negative sentiment towards the brand, there isn’t any positive coming from our brand’s identity. People that have done business with us have been more than happy with our work, but we need to go beyond that.

In the coming weeks and months, you will notice changes in the way things our presented on the website, changes in the advertisements that are displayed and there will be a lot more giving back to our readers, customers and visitors.

Along with changing our identity, we will be changing our logo to a much more modern looking design.

For the past couple years I’ve been a member over at Blog Engage, and it has by far become my favorite hangout place for blogging related links, tips and more importantly people!

It’s a great community, and is well organized and looks great. They even have an active Facebook group and they promote links via their Facebook page (which is seperate from the group) and Twitter.

It’s a great way to meet active other active bloggers, and network and you can sign up for their RSS services which can give you some awesome backlinks, through their whole portfolio of websites depending which package you pick.

I’ve basically reinstalled WordPress and all the content, I didn’t move the pictures over yet, but will have that done in the next couple days, and hopefully from there on it will be back to normal and smooth sailing.

I’ve also used (and will use) this time to clean up the sidebar and other pages, and maybe change a few things around here, so if something is different it might be normal, if you aren’t sure don’t hesitate to contact me.

You need to make sure you have a proper system that will keep everything organized, from knowing how many tickets are sold, how many are available and how much money has been made and is left to be made.

In 2012, our goal was to double the amount of web properties owned by the Deuce Group, and we have achieved that. The projects haven’t all be publicly released yet, but before the end of the year, all will be.

There will be a total of 20 web properties owned and operated solely by the Deuce Group, and there are a couple partnerships in the works, but there is no time frame on those. The web properties don’t include the web properties we manage and/or own for our customers.

The changes to this website will come once the rest is done, because first and foremost this website will be dedicated to showcasing, organizing and promoting those properties, but I like the design and content we have here, so I’m going to try and tweak the theme and logo to update it but without losing the whole feel, and still keep the content, just not have it as the main focus of the homepage.
