I know I keep pace with about 20 different television series, and it’s hard to keep track of which ones play when, as I’m always watching them online, so I barely even know which nights they play on.

A great website I discovered that keeps track of my shows for me is call Seriesly, which is a play on the word seriously, and series-ly which is similar to the tons of web services that end in “ly” (i.e. Adly, Adfly, Bitly,etc).

So make sure you don’t miss your shows, whether you like the CSIs of the world or the Dancing with the Stars or both!

Sometimes you need to see the big picture to motivate you to save the money, because yes a couple dollars here and there do add up. More and more people are turning to the Internet for their TV and Movie needs, as it’s a lot more convenient for someone to watch movies or tv shows online.

You can watch them when you want, and you can easily keep track of where you are in a series, you can even pause when you need a break.

With a laptop you can watch them wherever you please.

A great website that brings together all the great places to watch TV shows and movies online is WatchingItNow.com, they have one of the simplest and easiest to use listings compared to other similar websites. And you aren’t bombarded with ads and pop ups like some of the others.

This is pretty much a no brainer, the less paper you have the more space you have, the more organized you can be, therefore it will save you time and money.

It’s not something that is hard or complicated to do, but it is something that will take some time to get started, and then a little bit of time to keep it going.

When you think of this, normally you think of saving paper, by making digital copies of your notes, receipts, business cards, manuals, books, and anything else you need to keep that is on paper. But it’s not only that, you can also eliminate the need for physical pictures, negatives, slides, cassettes, tapes, CDs, DVDs and even Blu-Ray Discs.

It was officially announced via their official Twitter account at about noon eastern time today (June 14th 2010), as of July 1st, there will be free WIFI internet access at all Starbucks locations across the United States.

So for all our American readers, starting in a couple weeks, you will be able to work wirelessly from any of your local Starbucks locations, you can even cut your home Internet and save some money, although it may end up costing you more in coffee!

Starbucks Previews Free One-click Wi-Fi and Next Generation In-store Digital Content Offering

WIRED’s Business Conference “Disruptive by Design” provides stage to announce Starbucks plans for enhanced digital experience in U.S. stores

WHAT: Appearing at WIRED’s Business Conference Disruptive by Design today, Howard Schultz talked with WIRED’s Chris Anderson about “Evolving the Starbucks Experience in an Ever-changing World.”  Schultz recounted the challenges of leading the Starbucks transformation following his return to the company as CEO in 2008.  With a focus on lessons learned, Schultz’s talk included how the company sought to embrace social and digital media and continues to look for new ways to bridge the third place coffeehouse experience with the digital world.   As part of this commitment, Schultz recognized customers’ desire for a better in store Wi-Fi experience and announced that on July 1, Starbucks will turn on one-click, free Wi-Fi through AT&T in all U.S. company operated stores.

Building on the Wi-Fi update, Schultz also revealed plans for a new online customer experience called the Starbucks Digital Network, in partnership with Yahoo!, which will debut later this fall.  This online experience – available only in U.S. company operated Starbucks stores – will be unique in its content offerings, allowing customers free unrestricted access to various paid sites and services such as wsj.com, exclusive content and previews, free downloads, local community news and activities, on their laptops, tablets or smart phones.
Driven by Digital Ventures, a new business unit within Starbucks led by CIO and General Manager, Digital Ventures, Stephen Gillett, the Starbucks Digital Network in partnership with Yahoo! opens up a uniquely valuable customer experience, while at the same time appeals to leading online content providers and provides a new channel for customer engagement.  Launch content providers will include, among others, iTunes, The New York Times, Patch, USA TODAY, The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo! and ZAGAT.
