5 ways to make money on eBay.
Most everyone, if not every one has heard of eBay, one of the biggest online marketplaces. It started out as an auction site back in 1995, and although it still has the auctions, it also has a huge inventory of fixed price items. A lot of people have bought stuff on eBay, some have even sold stuff on eBay, but here we will tell you about those and the other non conventional ways of making money using eBay. We believe using all 5 of these together would make quite the money making opportunity.
-
The first, and more traditional way to make money on eBay is buying items and reselling them on eBay. Whether is be hard to find items that you have to sell, or items that you can get at a low price, the idea is to buy low and sell high, this used to be easy back when eBay first started, but has grown a lot harder now since there are so many sellers out there. The best bet is with the harder to find items, those always seem to get the big money, specially when you get collectors involved in the bidding.
-
Secondly we propose you make money on eBay, is to offer your services with other people that are not as familiar or simply don’t have the time to use eBay. Basically you could list their items for them, and collect a fixed fee for each listed item, or a percentage of the sale, or a combination of both. You can even offer to buy items for them as well.
-
The third way is a little bit like the second, where it will be offering a service to others, except instead of buying or selling for them, you will teach them how to do it on their own, although you may not get the repeat earnings that the second way gives, you will be able to charge a higher amount for this.
-
This one involves what we call drop shipping, which basically means you subscribe or affiliate yourself with a company that supplies all the items you sell and you get a cut of the sale, more often than not you get to decide how high you sell the item at, obviously the higher you set the price the more money you get, but the lower you go the more sales you will have. The key is finding a good balance.
-
Finally, we have the eBay Partner Network, basically how this works is that you can refer people directly to eBay through your website, blog, twitter, e-mail or any other online way and you will earn money based on what they purchase, this is basically an eBay affiliate program.
There is nothing stopping you from putting all five of these into one business. Create an eBay services business, where you can buy and sell for others, as well as teach them, at the same time you call sell items for yourself and for a drop shipper, and for this business you can set up a website, with all eBay related links being affiliate links from the eBay Partner Network.
We of course offer all eBay related services, and have been trading on eBay since 1995 when it first started, so let us know if we can be of any assistance to you, no matter which solution is for you.
