Twitter Users by Number of Tweets

Now that Twitter has surpassed the 10,000,000,000 tweet mark, we can take a look at some interesting statistics.

The statistics we are looking at are taken from an info graph that was created by Twitter user @msaleem for Mashable.

The first two graphs on the top show you the progression of the amount of users and updates (tweets) from when it all started until the 10 billionth tweet.

This is followed with 3 pie charts about user retention, and then a breakdown of the amount of “Users by Follower Count” (We fall in the over 500 purple bar at the top) and the amount of “Users by Number of Updates” (We fall 200-499 pink bar second from the top).

After that you have a breakdown of what people tweet about, when they tweet it (by hour and day) and then an interesting break down of who is using Twitter by Gender, Age, whether or not they have Children and Education.
